Greatest Sports Moment: "I've won two majors (PGA '91 and British Open '95). Nothing can take that away. But winning the Buick (in '05) is the sweetest victory because it's been a long, long time. It's been forever since I won on U.S. soil. To finally win a tournament again is very, very special. And I've never won a tournament that Tiger has been in the field."
Most Painful Moment: "There's been a lot of painful moments in the last ten years. I just kept fighting and plugging away."

Funny Golf Memory: "One time at the tournament in Las Vegas. I hit a shot that hit a cop on site. Bloodied his face. He wanted my driver's license. This took like 30 minutes. He wanted to arrest me. Finally the Tour guy came over and said, John wants to play, you're holding the players up. If you look at the back of your ticket, John's not responsible for where his shots go. Finally we started playing again. That was funny to me."
